Dates are one of the healthiest sweeteners out there, as it is a delicious whole food packed with minerals and antioxidants.

Just by blending some nice dates with water, you can make your own date paste, and use it in countless preparations or as a spread.

Ingredients

  • 150g soaked pitted dates
  • 100120ml water (depending on the texture you want to get)
  • 1 pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Throw the soaked dates into your food processor and progressively add the water until you reach the texture you are looking for.

Notes

The paste can be stored in the refrigerator for 5-7 days.
