Who is behind Healthy Peasy ?

My name is Loic, and I’ve been passionate about cooking, nutrition, and fitness since I was 18. After years of living a lifestyle that was far from optimal, I decided to take control of my life, take care of my body and mind, and distance myself from daily toxins (whether dietary, mental, or relational).

Since then, my life has changed dramatically for the better. The idea behind this site is to share my journey, in hopes of helping you transform your own life and move toward becoming the best version of yourself.

Since 2020, I’ve been a Digital Nomad and a certified yoga teacher. I’m fortunate enough to work from anywhere in the world with just a laptop as my main tool. I spend most of my time traveling, experiencing new cultures, meeting new people, working online, and seizing every opportunity to push myself further each day.

Why did I create Healthy Peasy?

I was inspired to take control of my life when I realized I wasn’t truly living—I was more “surviving” than “living.” By that, I mean going through life without a purpose, without meaningful goals, and without a clear reason to live. Gradually, I started by changing my diet, my physical activity, and especially my mindset. Over time, my life transformed into one full of vitality and meaning. Today, the momentum from these fundamental changes allows me to live life to the fullest, find purpose in every activity, meet my financial needs, and enjoy a fulfilling social and family life.

This project was born out of the desire to share the ideas, tools, and experiences that helped me and continue to help me every day. Through recipes, articles, reflections, videos, and podcasts, I hope to guide others toward a path that brings them closer to the best version of themselves and to live a life that is happy and full of meaning.

Frequently Asked Questions

Depending on the situation, I use a Sony Alpha IV camera with a Sigma 24-70mm lens and a JOILCAN 187 cm tripod. Sometimes, I simply use my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or my GoPro HERO Black with a TONOR suspension arm. For lighting, I use two RALENO softboxes.

Just click the “Print” button on the recipe you want to save it as a PDF. You can then keep it on your computer or smartphone and print it out later.

For now, I only offer a free e-book, which you can get by subscribing to the site’s newsletter. However, new cookbooks and recipe booklets are in the works!

Why combine nutrition, fitness, and travel?

Nothing solid can rest on a fragile foundation. It’s clear that a healthy, balanced diet is the cornerstone of a happy, vibrant life. We only have one body, so we must honor it by fueling it with the macronutrients and micronutrients it needs, in the right amounts. Without this, neither the body nor the mind can function properly. It’s also well-established that diet has a profound impact on emotions, mindset, and even DNA.

Which brings us to the next point: fitness. “Use it or lose it.” If we don’t use our bodies, they aren’t properly stimulated, and we limit our energy. It’s important to engage in daily physical activity, ideally in a variety of forms. When the body is properly exercised and nourished, our well-being and vitality reach a whole new level.

By optimizing my nutrition and fitness, I found the strength and desire to step out of my comfort zone and explore the world. Traveling exposes me to new cultures and people, allowing me to share my experiences and help others live better lives while also being open to their ideas. This constant exchange helps me develop an open mind and keeps me questioning myself, preventing me from falling into judgment or ego.

These three elements—nutrition, fitness, and travel—are not just passions but the pillars of my current lifestyle. They enable me to grow day by day, live a happy life, and hopefully inspire you to find the life that brings you the most joy.

Education & Certifications

Since my teenage years, I developed a passion for sociology and psychology, as well as sports. My academic path eventually led me to specialize in marketing, during which I continued to educate myself in the fields of sports and nutrition. This journey resulted in a career spanning over eight years in digital marketing.

Despite my intense dedication to work, my interest in cooking, sports, and nutrition continued to grow, becoming activities that were increasingly therapeutic and fascinating to me.

One day, I decided to hire a fitness coach to explore what my body was truly capable of and to speed up my learning in both sports and nutrition.

Months passed, my excitement grew exponentially, and the results were drastic. I felt at my best—strong, fulfilled, and happy. It was a revelation. I wanted to inspire and help others around me to do the same, to unlock their potential, and to become the best version of themselves.

I then decided to pursue training with Precision Nutrition, the leading authority in the coaching world.

After earning my certification as a nutrition coach, I continued with their intensive course to become a certified coach in stress management, recovery, and sleep. This was to ensure that I could provide not just nutritional guidance, but holistic support for overall well-being.
