Ingredients
- 150 ml plant-based milk (homemade oat milk here)
- 100 g raw black lentils (beluga)
- 5–6 pitted dates
- 15 g cacao powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Rinse the lentils and let them soak overnight.
- The next day, blend the soaked lentils with the other ingredients until you achieve a smooth texture.
- Cook the batter in a waffle maker for about 3 to 6 minutes, depending on your device.
- Top with yogurt, chocolate chips, and any other toppings you prefer.
Notes
For the toppings, I like to use some plant-based yogurt, some cacao nibs, and a bit of maple syrup.
